After over a decade running a successful online fragrance and home goods business, Jessica and Justin Parr took a bold step into the brick-and-mortar world with their first physical storefront in Weston, Missouri.

Officially opened on December 12th, 2025, their shop, Oak Manor Fragrances, offers not just products but an experience—one filled with unique stories, artisanal craftsmanship, and the warm embrace of a supportive local community.

Jessica, originally from Wisconsin, and Justin, a native of Lansing, met some 15 years ago and eventually settled near Weston, loving everything about the town’s cozy vibe, neighborly spirit, and strong support for small, local businesses.

“The community really supports little local small business stuff, which is not true everywhere,” Jessica shared. This passion for Weston made it the only place they’d consider opening a physical store.

Their boutique is much more than a typical fragrance shop. It specializes in carefully curated, niche brands that stand apart from mass-market products found in big retailers.

Many of the brands have rich, historical legacies rooted in Europe and the United States—like the Master Perfumer, Rancé, with traditions dating back to 1795 France, or the upcoming 100-year celebration of Fragonard, a French perfume house that even offers tours of their facilities.

The store’s layout reflects this thoughtful curation, grouping brands by region with a strong emphasis on discovery and personalized service. “We always ask customers what they gravitate towards—citrus, floral, woody—and then help them try different options,” Jessica explained.

Discovery sets and testers allow customers to explore scents on their skin, understanding how fragrances evolve with body chemistry—a sensory journey rarely available online.

Though their online customers often come seeking a signature scent they’ve already discovered, the in-store foot traffic primarily consists of gift shoppers discovering these special items for the first time.

The Parrs were initially concerned about pricing—some items are an investment—but found customers are willing to splurge when something truly resonates. “People stumble into something they really like, and it becomes worth it to them,” Jessica notes.

Beyond the business, what’s clear is the genuine warmth the Parrs feel from the Weston community. From welcome gifts to steady encouragement from neighboring shop owners like those at the Celtic Ranch, the support has been overwhelming in the best way. “We made the right decision by being in Weston,” Justin says with a smile.

"The shop smells wonderful. You've got to get in there and see everything they have. I think it's a really unique shop for Weston and a great addition to Main Street," said Cara Welliver, co-owner of the Celtic Ranch and Whiskey Snug.

Whether you’re seeking a timeless signature scent, a unique gift, or simply a delightful new local destination, Jessica and Justin Parr’s boutique offers not just products but stories—crafted with care, rooted in history, and shared in the heart of a community that truly cares.
